Slide-ZX

Slide-ZX converts classic ZX Spectrum loading screens into simple slide puzzles. There are two versions included one with ten classic loading screens from Ultimate Play the Game, and another featuring nine by Screen loader classic artist F David Thorpe, as voted for by the Spectrum community as their favourites.

 I did not create the artwork so the game is available for free. However you can also support me on Patreon where members get all the work I do included. With a bit of encouragement I may create additional versions based on other publishers or artists which I will include in this download.

Controls are QAOP or Kempston stick to move tiles. Keys 1 and 2 set the background colours. Press  fire to start the game and to enable / disable help.

You can also load your own screens in at the start of a round, when the current screen is shown as the CPU is waiting for a keypress.
